You simply double click on a file you want to download, and you're prompted to input where you want to save this file on your computer. You can keep the default folder that it's being saved to, or you can change the setting through the software in Options - Settings. After you have chosen the download folder, you'll be able to monitor the progress of the download through the "download section". When it's done, you can just double click on it to access it, or navigate to the directory you saved it in.
Settings
Unlike a lot of other programs that you can use to download files, the Usenet Downloader keeps it simple by only having a handful of functions that you can modify through the settings menu. From this menu, you can enter proxy server data, you can turn SSL Encryption on and off, you can turn the download speed limit function on and off, and a few other key components. This way, you don't have to worry about properly configuring your software, and you can start downloading your files in seconds.
Add To Bookmarks
The Usenet Downloader has a bookmarks function built into it so you can easily browse to a newsgroup over and over again without having to search for it. When you browse the list of various newsgroups, you can click your right mouse button on the newsgroup, and then select "add to bookmarks", and it'll automatically add it to this list. You can also enter the entire newsgroup name in the Bookmarks section if you know it. You can modify this bookmarks list at any time through the menu as well.
